Erratic Idle Problem **Need Help**
Ok guys here the story: My 88 CRX Si is Idleling funny. This just started last week. After if warms up it starts to iddle erratically. It goes up to about 1500, and then drops to about 800. It keeps doing this, but the car can still run. I have since taken it to the dealership and they dont' know why it's doing this. Someone please help me!

One thought ...
I had a similar problem .... Check If the ignition timing is too far retarded, I set my mechanical timing in-correctly, it was way off, and the idle got quite erratic.

YUP... We looked at everything ... vacuum leaks, bad sensors, etc ... Then just for the hell of it we re-adjusted the timing ... BAM ... It idled properly ... I do not know why it fixed the problem ... but it did.
It may not be your problem ..but it is worth checking out
