I am planning on building a sand dragster quad and i need a engine and i know a kid with a 2000 cbr 900 engine that ported and polished. What do you think would be a good price for this engine if i was to buy it from him. The engine has a quite a bit of stuff done to it.

W/ Or W/out the tranny? I have seen some 00' 900 longblocks go for around $1000.00-$1200.00. Somewhere around there but I dont know with the mods and Im not sure if the tranny is coming with the motor or not.

I want to know how much you think this engine is worth for the complete engine and tranny.

 

i just got a 99 cbr900rr for $200. The engine is good its just been wrecked a few times. I practicly stole it from the kid at that price.
