carrying skis
I just took delivery on my '04 S2000 for my daily driver.
I'm planning on going skiing next month, but have no idea on the best way to carry my skis. One option is to rent something for the weekend. The other is to purchase a luggage rack for the trunklid, and put the skis on that:

Question is, should I wait for my hardtop to come in, and put a ski rack on that? Are there any racks (i.e., Yakima) that fit the S2000 hardtop? Does anybody have any experience with this at all?

i work at a sporting goods store and my department is for ski/snowboard hardware as well as ski/nowboard racks...there is no application on the catalogs as well...
Even if you could some how mount a ski rack onto that car here's 2 problems...
1) It would make your car look like ***.
2) Your car is a RWD sports car. It will handle like total **** in the snow.

I don't actually need to get up the slopes- that's what the chair lift is for
Seriously, though, I live in central NJ (where there is no skiing), and I have friends in the Berkshires, where I ski (i.e., Butternut, Catamount, and possibly even Jimminy). So, I don't have to worry about getting to the mountain, just getting to upstate NY, with the skis.
