Question,One headlight not working? Just getting no power, how or where to start fix
Right now we just have the power jumped from the turn signal so I can atleast use my head light. But if I just straight plug the head light in nothing happens, the turn signal goes on but I get nothing from the headlight. So thats why we jumped the power from the turn signal. Just want to know where to start looking for the fix.
thanks
thanks

Did you have superwhite lights in your headlights? If so, they tend to melt the female connector that plugs into the back of the bulb. See if that is messed up.
Check there for power also. Usually this is where the problem is, unless somewhere else in your wiring you pinched a wire. Just keep going from there back through the wires with a multimeter.
I would suggest trying what I said, if that doesn't work, any good shop should be able to diagnose it for you for pretty cheap, and then you can fix it.

If the female connector were melted you probably wouldn't be able to unplug it from the bulb. Besides, that would only melt the plastic, not the connection (being metal) itself. Definately start at the connection point though. Clean it if it's dirty. If that doesn't work, you're going to have to trace the line all the way back. I agree, it may be pinched somewhere. The connector itself may also just be shot. Wires themselves don't really go bad unless you pinch or cut them. Good luck.

thanks, I just hate problems with electrical its just such a bitch. Well atleast it works for now but the only problem is I can't just turn on my parking lights because the one headlight will come on. But I hope I can get it figured out
I have the same problem with my fiancee' 1992 hatch.
the low beam works, but the high beam doesn't. Weird because it's the same bulb.
I found out that the headlight plug itself (the three prong one in black plastic) was broken inside even though it looked fine.
You can buy the plug itself with the wires as a "headlight repair harness kit" from the Honda dealer for like $8.00 - that might be your problem.

or you guys should try checking the headlight fuses, there are separate fuses for each headlight. first time u try to install HID's you will always burn out 1 fuse, since they need to be upgraded to 20's i believe instead of 15s or something.

Noob has nothing to do with it. The only thing you said that made any sense was "fuses". Everything else was outta left field.

if i give wrong info then you can acuse me, everything i mentioned has to do with why 1 headlight doesnt work, i didnt say oh its because the guy installed hid's its because its something common with HID installed and you never know what he was doing.
were not helping this guy out by bickering with eachother about this. dont agree with somethign i said then ask dont try to insult me first then ask the questions.
