Default 15x7 wheel on Civic

okay, i tried a search on this and i found many things close but nothing about this.

i have my eye on a set of the gunmetal AXIS MAG LITES for my EG (pic below) in the 15x7 40 offset size. i've been trying to find out which is the best tire for a 15x7 wheel that will work without fitment issues on my EG.

I would like to run one of the following tire sizes:

195/50/15
195/60/15
205/50/16

which would be the best combination to run on a 15x7 wheel on my EG? I'm hoping to be able to get decent treadwear tire preferrably asymetrical which will allow me to rotate the wheels around the car as opposed to just front to back like directionals. the Azenis looks like the most attractive price-wise so far.

I have the car lowered about 2.0-2.25" (i leave it at autoX height all the time) in the nice weather season with Skunk2 coilovers on Tokico Illumina adjustables. I just dont want to encounter any rubbing or contact of the tire/wheel with the body or suspension. I used to run 17s before i went with the JDM-style theme and aside form my autoX race wheels which are '91 14x5 CRX Si 5-slots this is the first time my street wheels will be 15s.

thanks for any help H-T

P.S. if there's any other sizes i didn't list that you know or would suggest be better for that wheel plz let me know. i'm not wealthy so my tire choice will be final for at least a year

205/50/15 would keep it as close to the original stock wheel's diameter so it wont throw off your speedometer. You cannot get a 16" tire on that wheel .

205/50 15 Falken Azenis, especially if you auto-x & street drive on them.
