Clean garage, new work bench, new rollaway!
some pics for those of us here at H-T and also a place for other to view them seeing as how I don't want to email that much data to several persons.. easier to send a link!

I got the acura sign from some guys at the racetrack that I served in my bar the night before the lapping day.

well, I didn't need something HUGE plus I have 2 roomates so the only time I can occupy the WHOLE GARAGE is when I'm actually working on the car.
The bench isn't "small", it's 2 feet wide, 40" side to side, and 4 feet tall.
The rollaway was listed for 68$ on craftsman website but it was on sale at the local sears for 58$. I also got a little roller chair and a vice.
I got it all for free because I got a craftsman gift cert. for 100$ for xmas. Needless to say that was an awesome gift..... thanx dad!

is the work bench pretty sturdy?? it doesnt look that stable IMO</TD></TR></TABLE>
I see what you're saying. I forgot that when you build a bench it's a good idea to have a cross beam for support.
As you see in the back of it, the 2x4 that goes between the two rear legs has those diagonal pieces that increased sturdyness bunches. The front cross bar is higher than it should be for support but I had to place it that high because I needed my rollaway chest to fit underneath.
I am VERY suprised at how stable it is. The legs which are just 2 2x4's that are well screwed together and where they lack support "down low, they make up for up top" (quoted phrase has multiple meanings... get it?!!).
anyway. I am surprised my garage got so many responses. Thanx much!
