Default TURBO accords! with f22 blocks.. THE PLUG above the oil filter for pressure????

okay i was looking around at my spare blocks and was trying to find any plugs that can be used as oil pressure for my oil pressure gauge. I don't want to tap it in with the turbo oil feed where the stock oil pressure sensor is at as I am afraid the vibration might break the fitting off.

so has anybody tried this port for oil pressure? i unscrewed it and it leads straight down to the passage way for the oil filter.

You can safely use the oil pressure sensor if done correctly.

yes mine too but i also want to hook up an oil pressure gauge.. i want to put as much less weight on the adapter as possible.

hmm i guess i'll try it that hole out since it's only for an oil pressure gauge... gotta find the fitting size now..

Is that for a mechanical or electrical gauge? Is the electrical worth the extra $100 for ease of install?

electrical is worth the extra just so you dont have an oil line fed into the cabin...imagine if that thing springs a leak

ahhh screw it, no way in hell i could see it with the engine still in the car

Just used the stock pressure sensor location, line to the block and the Greddy sensor screwed on there. Easy enough (even if i didnt have the right tools for the job!)
