Advan RG: cast or forged?
I am contemplating getting a set of Advan RG.. but have done searches and according to some people..they are forged... according to others they are cast...
I went to check out the wheels, and on the box it says gravity cast wheels...
I know forged wheels are always superior to cast wheels.. anybody have their opinon on the strength of Advan RG's?

yeah, the RG's are kinda pimp,
but in my opinion they arent as tight as people make them out to be.
pick up some buddyclub p1's,
there are two kinds, cast, and forged,
get the forged ones, the ARE worth the money, and actually you can get more sizes in the forged kind(16" for example).
should be light as *** too

Don't listen to this guy. The 16" are only like 2 lbs more than the same size regamasters.

i'm not hating on cast,
but you cant deny the benefits of the reduced weight of a forged wheel.

I know, for a street/mild race car its the way to go. But Cast aint all that bad either.

thanks guys...anybody have experienced with Advan RG's? did you crack/bend/deform them with weeks? or did they stand up to the chellenge of daily driving?
i have the RG's and they are awesome wheels period. They may be cast wheels but you can't knock on them since they are lighter than most 16" cast wheels out there.

Why? Wedsports are cast too.
Forged is just built so much better.

forged wheels bend and they are done, cast wheels crack...
I had some racing hart cp-10's a while back and I cracked them driving over some speedbumps or should I say ROAD DIVIDERs...
my dumb *** fault, they held up pretty well but when they finally spiderwebbed it was over.
I ended up having to buy two more and I was smart enough to pay for the tire warranty and got them replaced for 100 dollars. And sold the set for 700 bucks... now I got some ls stockers...
But I would still buy a set of rg's if I had the money too, they are very nice wheels but im in the market for something else for my car.

i have always liked the way the RG's look on cars, especially Hondas. Wat I havent seen yet is these wheels on like a DA Integra yet, I was thinking about buying a set since I cant find anybody that has the Sprint Hart CP-R in a 16x7, 4x100 bolt pattern for my DA. I was just curious, does anyone have pic of a DA with the Advan RG in 16x7 on a DA Integra?
