i am still looking for a definite answer if the Si/Ex differs from any of the other models from the same year...especially the part the runs to the secondary o2?

 

I'm not so sure about your question. From what I can gather, are you asking about wiring for the secondary o2 sensor?...like where does it go?

i am mainly interested in knowing if my stock CX harness has a place somewhere inside the cabin to directly plug the secondary into? if can i simply switch the floor section into the Si harness so i can plug it in or would i have to change the entire dash as well? i have tried wiring it with no luck...so now i want it to be plug and play and will do what ever it takes to get it that way.

 

say what now? The secondary o2 sensor doesn't run off the floor harness of the Si.

 

does it not come into the cabin through a hole in the floor right by the drivers seat? i have a stock secondary and the harness that runs off of it is only about 6 inches long...meaning it has to plug into something in that area right?

 

Im guessing you have 2000 CX Hatchback? Us hatchbacks do not have the hole there for the secondary o2 sensor because our stock motors have the o2 sensors in the front of the car. If you have a swap in it and trying to wire in the secondary o2 sensor, what I did was, take the secondary o2 sensor, then the wire that it plugs into, and took it all the way up to the dash in the 00 Si.

So both the primary and secondary o2 sensors are on the Si engine harness?

No, the primary o2 sensor is on the engine harness, while the secondary o2 sensor is on the dash harness.

but in a Cx/Dx model of the same year there will not be a plug on the dash harness correct? it will only exist on the Si/Ex dash harness?
