Hi all. Aleph and I are in a little question here about removing the rear seat...any suggestions? What pins, screws, steps, etc? We forgot the damn Helms Manual at Alephs house!

 

From memory....

pop off black plastic wishbone clip from corners of upper rear seats, starting from passenger to driver side. slide upper rear seat towards the outside of the car to pull out. Repeat on other side.

Bottom rear seat has a clip on the left and right sides. Simply pull up. There is a 10mm head bolt in the rear of the bottom rear seats. And there is a metal tab in the front of the rear seat, i.e. pull sides up, take out bolt and push bottom rear seat towards trunk to slide it out.

Am I missing anything?

 

Like he said. Just remove the clips on the outer edges of the seats. This will allow you room to move them, so that you can remove the reclining portions. Next, just take out the one bolt and the rest pops out. If you know what your doing it's a 5 minute job at the most.

heh, it's easy when you know how....i had pulled one of the tabs off already (seemed logical), but i didn't wanna yank anything too hard...got in touch with D, now i know how Didn't even end up needing too, i gotta start keeping that damn book in my car. Thx for answers.
