ITR Handling Problem
All,
I seem to have a problem with my car on right hand corners, the front left wheel just doesnt seem planted or sure of itself, it feels a bit like understeer - although it actually isnt.
I know this sounds a bit general but I really dont know how else to describe it, is there anything I should go and look for? I have had a good feel about and the bearings, arms etc all feel fine and the other day i gave her an oil change and checked the anti roll bar bushings and they look fine.
Could poor alignment cause this? Its very odd, its like i dont know what the wheel is doing or going to do mid corner, and i have had my car 3 years and have always felt confident with what the wheels are doing.
Its like front left wheel is pointing into much thats how it feels - hence why i asked about the alignment issue.
The R's suspension isnt something I have got into yet - cos its so great standard :-)
Hope you guys can help

check the toe allignment, or the shock...do a shock test, you know u push down on that side then release fast and see how many times it bounces. it should go up, down up, then stop. if it bounces more then that then theres your problem.

I would check your alignment.
If roads are rough in your area or you do performance driving - you should get alignment checked yearly.
Also check tire pressures and treadwear.
The Type R isn't really balanced from a weight standpoint when you compare crossweights (ie LF + RR vs RF + LR). It gets even worse when you put a driver in the car. This is where corner balancing can really help - but if you have a non-adjustable suspension - I would just check alignment, bearings, tire pressures and tires.
