stuttering help!!??b16 obd 0

Default stuttering help!!??b16 obd 0

car runs fine full throttle...vtec good...no codes...but stutters while driving partial throttle...timing at 16 btdc...timing belt good...any ideas???

Its normal for most First gen b16a's blocks to do this. Check your fuel filter and injectors. If those are fine, then dont worry about it to much. Who drives a b16a at half throtty anyway?

Normal???? I don't think so.
Check the O2 sensors. With a first gen B16 ecu, you NEED 2. If you have only wired up 1 or splitting the signal to the ecu, then that will cause part throttle hesitation and bad fuel mileage. At full throttle, the ecu disregards the O2 signal so that may be why it runs properly at WOT.

Yes, having the 02 sensors correct, not backwards, or in the wrong locations is essential to a good running obd0 b16a.

It will run rich/ lean, it will hesitate, and it wont pass smog if they are not ran correctly. Ryan
