ITR shift linkage
i currently have a GSR shift likage on my ITR/Civic hybrid,
is there a difference between a GSR and a ITR shift linkage?
and what shiftlinkage bushings will make the shifting smoother?
thx all

Same.
I believe in Japan there was a year when the ITR shift linkage was bronze, supposedly has a 10% shorter throw, but I have no evidence to back this up.
The ES shifter bushings are very good from what I hear.

no, it's not...it's the same
I had the ES kit, cheap and much nicer than the OEM rubber

I thought the rear section of the shifter had a extra weight? :shrugg:
they are the same shape/lenght tho.

they are the same size, shape, etc and are interchangeable.
the stabalizer bar is exactly the same. the shifter bar that actually connects to the transmission is slightly different, and I think it's due to weight. Slightly different part numbers on this piece.
And the aforementioned color differences.
Honestly, I don't think it makes much difference. BTW, I use an OEM shifter, OEM shift linkage, and ES bushings. I love the setup.. very smooth and firm..

technically, yes.. are they interchangeable? yes.. will you be able to feel a difference between the two? probably not..

Funny you mention that, many people (not necessarily teg owners) will chop off those weights. ?!?

I have the bronze one in my hybrid and i dunno about 10 percent but it sure does feel shorter

Actually you are correct. Type R linkage is beefier than GsR/LS/RS linkage (At least up to 98 GsR; I am not sure if they changed the GsR after that to the same as ITR)
