Default Easy cable VSS question, pic inside

Alright, this one had me stumped until I found something on the web today about the power steering in the teg. I don't have power steering so I'm guessing I can just pour a little MTL down one of the holes and then loop 1 and 2 together right?

I saw somthing on the web about that also. Except the person used brake fluid to fill it and than looped it together.

I looped mine, no fluid added. No problems after almost 10K miles.

What u can do is just swap out that teggy unit and replace it with a D series one. Why would u need to add fluid??

Exactly, then your speedo would be correct.

I was just thinking the fluid would lubricate the gear... but I guess the non-power steering ones don't have any at all anyway... so i'll just loop it and call it a day. Thanks guys.

Here too, just loop, no liquid added. Work perfect since 2years. And will stay like that

all it does it correct the power steering at high speeds so people who can't drive don't loose control.. loop it if u must, but it won't damage anything is u don't

Have you checked the gearing on both the D-series and B-series VSS?
