why did you run 3 ways on the back deck? i am an old schooler and always look at the rear for just fill you know. it probably sounds bad ***, but i am just asking why?
You'll love them, trust me.
As for why I put the 3-ways on and why I chose the ammount and brands of stereo items to install....I work at Circuit City, and we get really good deals on equipment from Sony and polk. I would've gone with something other than sony, but we don't get a lot of choices when it comes to buying hardware at discount.
I did 5 amps because it looks good the way its set up, and polk doesn't make any high output amps.
Pictures will be coming, just gotta get my digital camera back from my mother.

Depends on how it's installed, but I never in a million years would run that many speakers....I would have dumped the two rear sets of speakers without question.
I'd also be a little concerned about the 4ga comment....do you only have one 4 ga run from your battery? That's far too small if the ratings you listed for your amplifiers is indeed accurate (not calling you a liar, I've just never used that line
)
I'm interested to see photos....really, it's the installation that's more important, not the equipment
If it was me , I would have run one set of components in kicks, then break up another set and run dedicated midbasses in the doors, then co-ax in the rear off of a headunit for DVD use only. Power the front stage wioth 2 of those 2 channel amps....

Lol....no I'm running 0 Guage cable from the battery to a block, then 4 gauge from there through the capacitors to the amps. Sorry about the misstatement. As far as the number of speakers are concerned, I pretty much just handed out a bunch of cash and said " Let's see what we can fit in here." It sounds pretty good in my opinion, but I have thought about dropping those 6x9's as well, because the rear sound is a little "crowded" for lack of a better term. Heh...the original plan had 4 MORE speakers in the car to what I actually did.

why so many speakers? 5 amps? with all the money you spent you could have gotten one sub in a custom box that would probably beat harder than 3. and 4 caps?? why not just hook up another battery in your trunk? but hey whatever floats your boat man, to each his own.
i agree with rcurley55 on the components in the kicks with dedicated midbass in the doors. when you are at a concert does the band play behind you? no they are in front, i wouldn't run any rear speakers at all, it sounds soooo much better.
