i am entering my car in it's first car show on feb. 7th in sacramento. anybody out there have any helpful tips or comments?
And of course, give it a nice shiny wax. Maybe some glossy wax that last for a week? Yet, gives it a show impression. -
Good Luck. Give us some pictures. -

Feb 7, Sacramento, sounds like Import Motion. Since I believe you have to roll in the day before just take your time to get it clean. Usually wash it and vacuum before you get there and then once you get it into its spot polish and wax, clean windows, dress tires, etc. etc. Get it the way you want it so you don't have to show up till mid day on the 7th so you are spending your whole day there. Allie usually has a lot of events and activities that make the shows fun but just not quite enough to make them fun for 12 hours.

Clean, wash, wax at home.
Drive slow so you don't get it dirty.
Clean again at show. Clean under your car. Clean everything.
Have some sort of display.

Deffinetly. Have a nice framed plaque-type looking thing that lists all your mods, who's done your work, and etc...
good luck.

and place tons of cotton in your wheel well (gives the cloud effect), a model of your car so you can put on top of your car, mirrors, and tons of lights! j/k best of luck though

My advice depends on what you intend on doing.</TD></TR></TABLE>
This is true. Like when I go to shows I am happy not to place. I don't expect to because I don't have nor do I want what wins shows. Don't care for all the bling bling wheels and heavy *** body kit stuff that gets you points. I go for representation and promotional reasons. But I also don't enter my car into import shows anymore.

i was actually invited by a shop called d-2 motorsports in auburn to represent them. he is a spoon dealer and is going to have the spoon euro r and the dc-5 in the same booth. the only problem is is that i have to drive from reno to sac the day before. i am going to wash my car in reno then detail it at the shop. i don't know if our cars are going to be judged or not. i am sure they are though. thanks for the comments. keep them coming

Nice rear. I had the CWest rear lip molded and extended on my old 4 door Integra.
Nice car but it doesn't look like a show winner (trailer queen). Clean as normal, bring some good CDs and be comfortable.
