I live in a neighborhood where the only thing people want is a car stereo. My brother has got his system jacked once 4years ago and then got his mp3 cd player jacked not too long ago (had viper alarm). They didnt even bother to take the turbotimer. Probaby a bunch of high schoolers.

The funny thing is when i was rebuilding my motor my car was sitting outside on jackstands. I had the FMIC mounted where anyone could just unbolt 2 bolts and they are good to go. Vafc, gauges, turbo timer, all in the car. My car would sit outside for 2month periods and i have had nothing jacked.

Now, since i have a system in my wrx the car stays in the garage everytime i'm home..no matter what. I get paranoid leaving it outside my house. ******* just break windows to steal ****... Its not even a good system, just dont want to take my chances of people breaking my window or taking a crow bar to my trunk

No offense but these posts scare me! Why does he want to know who DOESNT keep their car in their garage? What methods are you using for anti-theft protection? Maybe so a would be thief would know what to expect. I am not saying your a thief cause I dont know you I am just saying I wouldnt give a real answer to a post like this..............

I park under a carport and don't really worry. Out in the country. plus I live across from a Christian school and in a pretty much christian neighborhood so I like where I live from a theft standpoint

I parked mine over night after finishing my Turbo GSR and it was gone.. happened a few days ago actually :-( if thieves want it, they'll get it.. but i'd def. suggest renting a garage somewhere to keep your car.. also.. along with the detachable hub and a clifford alarm pager, do a simple fuel cutoff swtich.. every lil bit helps..
