11:1 GSR block, B16 head, which oil pan?
The GSR block is a 3.210 bore with 11:1 pistons, stock B16 Vtec head. We are using the stock B16 oil pump,is this alright? Also, i know the B16 oil pan wont fit so do we use the GSR oil pan, pickup and baffle? I dont have a GSR pan otherwise i could see myself. Its going into a LS, would that pan work?
What do you guys think of port matching the intake manifold and the exhaust. Not talking about major porting just opening them up alittle bit to match the manifolds. Thanks in advance. You can always count on good info here on Honda-tech.

Port matching should be good for a few horses, but establish your goals first. I'd much rather spend a few bucks and get the AEBS intake manifold than to spend the money port matching the stock manifold, just due to the fact that it flows a hell of a lot better. Also if you're using the stock exhaust manifold, get a good header, like the JDM DC 4-1, not the regular ones that everyone sells.
Thanks for the info and opinion on the AEBS manifold, we do have an aftermarket header too. I now know to use the GSR pan, pickup and baffle, but will the B16 oil pump flow enough to run the vtec on the GSR block.
