auto to manual tensioner, can i remove this??

Default auto to manual tensioner, can i remove this??

im wanting to do the auto to manual tensioner conversion, and i wanted to know if i could take out the maintenance bolt? i have no idea what it does and it seriously gets in teh way. i dont even know if i can even take it out, does it unscrew or something? i have no idea, please hlep

if u mean the bolt that has a hole at the end of it for a cotter pin to pass through, yes u can go ahead and remove that you dont need it anymore.

well, cant use a 10mm wrench anymore. the stupid thing is rounded to hell
