Some new Clutch Kit don't need to be break in, True/False?
I went to a shop and the guy said that some clutch like the one without the spring you don't have to break it in? true/false
I don't believe it. No matter what you buy...you always have to break it in. Nothing ever comes completely true from the factory.
Yes any new clutch will need a period of breaking in. I recently purchesed a ACT unsprung clutch and it does need broken in. Anything that has metal to metal contact must have a period of "breaking in" if one or two of the components are new.
does it really matter? you are gonna drive the car around anyways and by doin so you will break it in...if you dont have to break it in are you just gonna leave it in the garage or something?

there was a post in the forced induction thread a couple of weeks ago about the same thing. The majority of the post stated that puck style clutches and unspring clutches don't need to be broken in.

i agree, if i were you, i would take it easy at first, at least 4 a couple weeks.
you can't hurt it by doing it that way. like ludeyKrus said, better safe than sorry
