Valve Cover Question??????
I painted my stock valve cover with the VHT red wrinkle paint, and it turned out decent. MY question was, does it keep in heat within the motor better than teh stock black coat? because in the raint just after driving and idling, my hood starts to steam because of the rain. Is there any way to keep the heat under the hood? anything i can put underneath the hood? or is this completly normal
You're lucky the NOS didnt blow the welds off your intake.
Hope you understand that the motor gets hot in other places besides the valve cover. When it rains, water tends to hit some parts of your motor, like exhaust manifold. When heat seeps out of the hood, it will hit the cold air and cause steam.
