New headgasket, headbolts, ok to Ivtec it?
As many of you know, I got my headgasket replaced along with the headbolts and other misc. gaskets. I know its not the break-in period all over but do you think I should wait for a bit before Ivtec it? or just pound the living daylights out of my car right away?

Do you have a copy of your service bill for that? Could you send it to me at mikestypes@hotmail.com with your personal info blacked out please.
I have the same probelm you had with the oil leak, and I need to get it fixed. I want to be fully prepared to show that others have the same problem and how it was fixed properly.
Thanks.
Mike

Mike</TD></TR></TABLE>All I did was call the dealer and tell them I had a leak between the block and head, brought it in and had their mechanic look at it and saw oil buildup where the triangular piece is. No visible signs of the leak was coming from the valve cover gasket. You have to be firm. Just make sure it is'nt your valve cover gasket that is leaking. Some dealerships will conclude that it is and you have to convince them that it is'nt.
If your car is stock you should have no problems for them to deny you warranty charges. Again, you have to be firm.
If I get a hold of my bro dig. cam i'll try and take and post a pic of it if your still having probs with your dealer
