Default Anyone's GE sleeves leak and if so......

.....assuming they covered it under warrenty, how are they holding up? I guess the procedure is to remove the old sleeves and re-press them in and reseal? SHould one worry about the longevity of these sleeves or them leaking again?

I haven't heard of any instances of leaking/sinking with their new process that was started approx. 6 months ago.

they must know there was some instances of problems with the old design since they have a new/better one out...i think for that reason alone if you do have any problems they should work something out with you.

Doesnt GE tell you to use Bar's leak or something like that to help prevent leaking from the sleeves. I remember reading that post awhile ago.

BAR'S LEAK KEY WORD LEAK , it was said that it is used to prevent rusting but the true reason is they leaked, why do you think other companies have SLOGANS that say "Guaranteed not to leak!" Mine leaked and I added Bar's Leak and it did stop the leaking but not the sinking. Good luck MordecaiPSI

Yea.....thanks. Supposedly mine was done with thier new way of sealing. If i have to re-sleeve again, even if they cover me under warrenty again, im done.

Cant afford to take her apart again....which would be a 3rd time. Id have part it out.
