I hate when people do that on ebay....in the title it says spoon sports, not style, not copy...it's very misleading plus it pisses me off when I'm searching for something legit and I get fake **** all the time...
I know in the description it says it, but I guarantee that one of the bidders will think its for REAL spoon wheels...PEOPLE ON EBAY ARE DUMBER THAN YOU THINK

for example, my buddy was on the waiting list for the new M3, and he eventually got on, but his reserved space was still available...like everyone else, he was trying to sell his space to buy the car...someone bid on it for like 3K thinking he was getting the BRAND NEW 2K1 M3! needless to say he wasted my friends time being as dumb as he is....oh well, just venting...I know it's marketing, etc...just pisses me off b/c I waste a lot of time w/ these ricey people....

I sent the seller an email saying his auction is misleading and people are bidding this much b/c they think that they are real spoon wheels....he knows that people can get them for 400/set

Notice the "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" at the end of the description. He doesnt want to refund the money once the buyer finds out they arent real.

as I said, I emailed him and this was his response...

"y wonder when your not going to buy them anyways? As it states... spoon style rims... what does that tell you? If they were authentic i woulda said authentic get lost and mind your own business. Dont you have something better to do than hate on me? "

what a jackass...

this was email #2 I just received from him...

"Ive been getting emails left and right from people just like you. I just dont understand Y you people have to look out for me or the buyer. I think I can handle it myself. I will conduct myself in whatever manner I feel. Im not trying to rip anyone off. Im just sick of wasting my time having to email people back. OBVIOUSLY you can tell the difference and plenty of others can. I stated all the facts on that auction. If you were me... youd probably be fed up with this ****. Y dont u go bother the guy who sells fake type R mirrors, or fake type R shiftknobs. Now i think its time you leave me alone."

If you go to the Auction Listings board or Feedback board on ebay, there are a bunch of vigilantes looking out to protect "uninformed" or "misled" buyers. They use some fake account and bid some crazy *** price to ruin the auction, left the seller of having to file NPB, etc., and cannot remove a neg feedback.

Eh, I gotta say while it is wrong; not a bad idea. Has anyone though about e-mailing E-Bay? He is mis representing the item. Look at what the title says, it claims they are Spoon rims. Which they are not. That is illegal. I would even go so far as to file a report with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Actually, if you were to buy these rims you could them have the seller charged with mail fraud I believe.
