this is red-si's mom. please help me find codes.
can anyone tell me what codes 10 & 14 are?????

 

10: IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temperature)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

14: IAC Valve (Idle Air Control)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

just to add, the iac sensor is hidden on the back side of the intake manifold.

The plugs for those two components are the same..
Did they have the intake or head off?
Any chance they are hooked up backwards?

Look under "fuel and emissions"

PS>IAT sensor wires are Green/white stripe and Red/yellow stripe
IACV wires are Blue and yellow with a black stripe..
They could be hooked backwards and throw both codes...

I'm ashamed at the lack of maturity on HT lately. Steve "Red_Si" is a well respected person in and out of HT. Have some respect for his family. For the one's giving out helpful advice you get a and a , and for the wannabe clowns you get a

Thanks alot Edwin. For the leg humpers, . For the people who actually helped, . She posted for me because i was helping a guy out that has a hb. He saw i had a hb while i was delivering pizza's and stopped in for some help, so after work i went to help. i needed to know what the codes were so i asked my mom to post and told her to say she was my mom so that people wouldn't tell her to search b/c she isn't very comp friendly. anyway, to add some tech to this post anybody have any pics of the two sensors, location wise???
