Aiight here's the prob. Ive been workin with my girls 5th gen dx auto 4 about a month tryin ta put this JDM B16 auto into her car. So far so good everything fits the engine is in the bay ready to be bolted down. While i'm wrestling wit this damn engine trying drop it, it becomes frustratingly obvious that the mounts won't line up evenly. I got this rear transmission bracket off a 94 Auto integra (slightly bigger than the DX bracket) and i can only get about two of the mounts to line up at a time. I suppose that rear bracket is the prob. should i use the DX or what i'm stumped.

 

Is that bracket off of a GSR or LS i dont know how much of a diff there might be but make sure. Try puttin the two engine mounts on first.

 

you need a manual rear bracket from a 94+ ls or gsr and a manual tranny bracket from another civic. Either that or reposition the auto tranny bracket.

 

Didn't think the man. tranny bracket would bolt on to auto tranny. Anybody think i should cut it or weld.

 

Try replacing all the mounts wit GSR, i'm pretty sure that will work. I belive they will give you a little more clearance than the dx mounts or just call hasport if you got the cheese.
