Default d16z6 swap into 88 crx si questions..

ok will the 88 tranny work with this i know 89-91 is different, and also im thinking of getting the boomslang obd1 kit, and so whats the deal with the sensor thats on it filled by a bolt? can i leave it unhooked, ahh i g2g but ill piost my other question when im home

The 88 si tranny will work just fine.

if u use 88 crx clutch press. plate and flywheel .. i believe

use 89 up , its 30mm larger surface area.

i have an 88 and if i wanna swap the tranny i have toswap to 89-91 axles which isnt really worht it cause i just got a brand new clutch and i already have an 88 si. ok my other questions, how do i run the sensor on the d16z6? i think its the cam angle sensor or the knock sensor, its on the back of the engine but its filled with a bolt, the 88 si has the sensor in it and i could always swap em into the d16z6 but i dont know cause ill be using the p28?? ecu from the civic ex

the thermo sensor must be relocated from the back of the si block:
to the z6 thermostat because the back of the z6 block is filled in:

with obd1 you have to add the vtec wires as well

my car is obd0 with a zdyne one wire conversion

so the green 2 prong one, that will just screw right in correct?

the trans will work i did a temporay d16 si swap in my rex and used the hf trans with a d16 si clutch and flywheel i had laying around.
