Default lastest Type-R hybrid dyno sheet with track times....

The lastest project hatch to come out of the shop was this one...

Which seems to be consistent in what we have been building...all in this HP range...all running on pump gas.

Thats over 205 WHP at 7,000 RPM.

Jeff

nice numbers. however with that much hp and torque doesn't 110 mph seem on the low side? is the driver back pedaling? there are coupes and cx/vx hatches weighting around 2150-2250 (with driver) with 190 whp or so hp and only about 130-135 ft-lbs but they pull 108-109 mph trapspeeds...

actually, 11.8 et. usually that needs atleast 113 mph. so i'm guess the driver backed off on the top end for some reason? what other passes did he run?

Default Frank

110 MPH....actually for people running in 11.8-12.0 that is normal if you run on 13" slicks. But it is low side...

and actually....he didn't want to go past 12.0 because he had no cage.

luck guess frank...lol

wow, frank. Again. good guess. no cage.

"Type-R JDM .478 final drive tranny"

Jeff I think you misplaced your decimal point in your mod list. The JDM ITR tranny has a 4.785 FD.

12.8 on 92 pump gas? Besides some 76 stations in so cal which have 100 octane, all I see now since August 1st is 91 octane. Maybe you have hook ups for that extra point?

That's not an R hybrid ...... it is a CRV/VTEC hybrid.

Very nice though! Why the white out at 8 grand on the plot??

Default SMSP

4.78

Did you really feel like it was neccessary to post that? It makes you look like you are just waiting for me to say something wrong and jump all over me.

your right. I misplaced decimal point.

Thanks.

And there is no white out on chart...its a glitch on the reading.

Only 110 in the traps?? That's slow as hell for "231hp" at that weight, 200 will get you 107ish.

What kinda lap times around VIR North??

O, my bad.

That is the 4th one over 225 at the wheels on pump gas. Can't wait until the next one....which as you know is...

100% Type-R motor. Just different internals.

We have here a Type-R motor with a superior bottom end to that of a B20.
But I am thinking, it is going to be the best motor I ever built. I am shooting for 240 WHP on 91 octane. I have a few headers at my house I will be trying out on it. And I have several different intakes. + Hondata.

I can't wait.

BTW, this Type-R build up will be on the TV show/Internet streaming that I am producing here at my shop this year.

You guys will get to see everything....step by step, even the tuning and the final drive off. Its going in a 1995 Integra GS-R. This will also show you that I have a real facility, a real dyno, real testing equipment and real car projects.

lol

Jeff

WHOA!

I might have a REAL facility and a REAL dyno....but I don't own a BBQ.

Can you hook it up man? We can leave it there if you want...call it the Honda CLub BBQ.

We will crysen it on the real dyno we got. Bring the apple cider bottle.

haha.

If you go to http://www.importreview.com he talks about the new shop and at the end of the write up he states,

"More news when my official website comes online late next week. http://www.importbuilders.com the shop that is based on quality and timeliness. Shop location will be announced soon, I am in ORANGE COUNTY, CA!"

Default Thank you DAVE. E-mail me.(SMSP)

Dave, please turn on privates with me. It was a joke. I knew you were not Dave.

Import Builders is my new company.

I specialize in not lagging. I am so tired it. Fully built sleeved motors will come out of my shop is less then 3 weeks. And blocks in less than 3 days.

I even REFUND money BACK to customers when i take longer than I promised. When I say it ships on the 10th, I mean it...OR I pay YOU. Tired of it. No lagging here.

the reason is started my shop...honestly is because I saw another person, who is a total liar and a fraud, who just blantantly lies to his customers and makes huge money off it. So My thought process is that if I am honest, and timely, and legit my customers will appreciate it and be very very satisfied. Its that simple. Nobody is going to be fooled here. I have a TV show so you can see my shop, what i do, who I am...I don't hide anything. I even invite customers to stand there and watch me put their block together. Honesty, openness and quality.

Any customer that wants something tested can also be free to coordinate with me on it. I am open to anything. I even hand out free coke's to customers and give all people who do certain jobs a free detail and car wash..inside and out.

I am doing things that everyone wants, and I guess I will put my BS degree from Cal Poly in Hotel and Restaurant Management to use...

Jeff
