Default BEST LOCATION TO INSTALL AN AUTOMETER OIL PRESSURE GUAGE

I HAVE AN AUTOMETER OIL PRESSURE GUAGE THAT REQUIRES LOCATING A PLACE ON YOUR BLOCK TO TAP IN THE AUTOMETER SUPPLIED FITTING AND ATTACHING SUPPLIED CAPPILARY TUBING FROM THAT TO THE GUAGE IT SELF. hAS ANYONE INSTALLED THIS ON A B18 MOTOR AND IS IT SAFE TO INSTALL THIS TYPE OF GUAGE INSIDE THE CAR. SURE DONT SEEM LIKE IT IF OIL IS GONNA RUN THREW THAT TUBING ALL THE WAY TO THE GUAGE. aNYONE HAVE ANY INSIGHT ON THIS

haven't looked, but you should be able toput a 'T' fitting where your pressure switch is screwed into your block and run the pressure line from there... the oil capillary line should pose no problems.. run it througn a rubber grommet so it doesn't wear from rubbing where it goes through the fire wall. Always use a new crush washer for the line fitting if so equipped and don't over tighten things.

The guage in the car is where you want it... but make sure any slack tubing is tied out of the way..

And remember it's a pressure guage... not an oil level guage.. so keep ckecking your oil level periododically
