dang im so excited. im getting my car swap tomorow. i cant stop thinking about this for the past week. yaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy.. droping b16a on a crx.

what should i expect?? performance and problems(hope not)....

LOL! No problem Adrian, I trust Adam with any car, he is a great mechanic! So you get you car on Wednesday huh? That's great, after you drive it tell us how you like it! But be careful though, don't go too crazy and possibly blow the motor or get into an accident....

before you do the swap. did you do your emission test, if not, do that first, you dont wanna be like me, my plates where suspended for a year for falling 5 times in a year, but i did manage to pass after putting 2 mustang cats and doing a new exhaust just for that. but good luck.

 

yah. i made sure i did that first. beside i know of a place that will pass my car. wink wink

there are so many reason why i didnt do it my self..

ok got everything done...whoa.. what a difference.. i love that vtec sound.. sounds good.. so everything went fine... and im so satisfied with the result....first time i got it from the shop drove it home and the car died on me in the middle of the 91 freeway.. had to get towed back to he shop.. next day, shop called me and told me that my distributor went out.it locked on my.. so adam decided we should go to hmotors and tell steve from hmotors that the distrubutor from the engine that i got was bad.. steve took a look at it.. no question ask. replace the distrubutor.. (gotta love hmotors) installed the new distrubutor. and went home happy.. also
i had a bog issue for a while so i switch the o2 sensor (c8= yellow and c16=white) around and that went away just like that.. hope that never comes back..hehehhe... everything is fine now.... speed is more than i immagine..talk a bout the difference.... i tried posting pics but i was unsuccesful. so i emailed the pix to el vap133.. hell be posting those pix anytime soon... gas consumption is kinna high though.. ive search around and found out a couple of reason why im going thru so much gas.. one of them is being on vtec too much..hahhhahahahahah oh well....so im gonna go and change my pcv valve and o2 sensors in the next couple of days to see if that solves my problem and help out a little.. ill keep ya guys posted... by the way... what o2 sensor should i get for my jdm b16a??? and what pcv valve?? from what car.. ?? should i go to the dealer and tell them i have a b16a and im looking for those parts.?...
