I am a n00b to this forum so this may be a repost.

I picked up a Vipers 790VX on eBay for 167 shipped.
Seems like a real nice alarm at an insanely fair price.
Any one have any expierience with it?

 

i love my viper. no complaints here, works perfectly. There's only one problem with it, it is too damn sensitive!!! whenever my car is parked with the alarm on and a redneck with a big loud truck goes by it goes off and its loud as hell!! I guess that is good

The sensitivity is adjustable, and you can turn it down.

 

thats dirt cheap! i work a circuit city and we sell that alarm for like 600 with installation. you probably be looking at around 100-150 for installation.
