Default VTEC solenoid's....

are all VTEC solenoids the same? The reason is, my swap is up and running, FINALLY, but when assembling the motor the VTEC solenoid from the GSR head (OBD2) had a different connector than the one of my d15z1 (VX) motor. so i had 2 choices. Use the GSR solenoid and solder in the VX connector, or just pop the VX solenoid on there. I chose the last one. The VX solenoid is much smaller though. Will it work just the same?

It bolts right up, but the actual SIZE of the solenoid is different. the one off the vx is smaller.

all b-series are the same
all d-series are the same
all h-series are the same

But they're different from each other SLIGHTLY...only the size of the vtec solenoid if i'm not mistaken

Well, you can either solder the gsr solenoid to whatever harness you're using right now, or just use the old solenoid on the gsr head
