Default what would be a good plan for me?

ok well i got a d16z6 and its got 190k on it, i dont know how much longer it will last but hondas last a while but ill end up driving hard since i cant drive by myself yet , but do you think i should just do simple modifications to it and just save up for a b16 and the tranny and all of that stuff, or would my motor be able to hold up to it being turbo. Yea i probably will do suspension/handling first, and yea i kno most of you are goin to say do that first

Well, if you're gonna do suspension first (and do it right at least), then you dont need to worry about a swap or boost in the near future.

I agree.

But to answer your other question, if you have your mind already made up on swapping, then I wouldn't waste your money on parts for your current motor.

Just save your money for you future plans with a new motor.

i strongly suggest you invest in seat time and a solid suspension setup. stick with your stock d16 until you learn how to drive a car properly. by the time your 20, and have some cash in your pockets from working, you'll know a shitload about hondas, and you won't be asking questions like this.

get to the track as much as possible now, and a few years down the road, you'll be driving circles around guys with faster cars that can't drive for ****; because they spent all their money on parts, which they can't fully take advantage of.

i would save money for a swap and have is set aside ONLY for when your motor decides to kick the can .. then you wont be waiting around saving up cash for a new motor cause you'll have the cash stashed away... then after the motor money is saved start saving for a good suspension.. guys on here seem to like teins.. but they are a little pricey .. i like koni yellows with some h&r springs.. ok so now you got your car and you are learning to drive your really beating on it and getting really good.. then wow look you have money to drop your car so now you car handles even better and you get even better at driving then bam your motor goes but its ok cause you got 4k stashed away... you drop in a b18c1 and you dont have to worry bout destroying it cause you already know how to drve

side note: dont waste cash trying to mod your d series that is prently in your car now hold out it will pay off. .... and read everything you possibly can.. you'll only get better

best advice i can give you is think **** out before you go buying some bullshit and wasting your money, researching and a solid plan of what you want to do will save you time and money in the long run so remember good things come to those who wait, so in other word don't buy cheap **** cause you only will be wasting your money save for quality ****
