While I am in the process of replacing my head gasket I noticed something weird about my piston. All 3 other pistons look normal except for this one, at the top of it it seems like its cut off....it doesn't seem chipped or broken because the line is perfectly straight. I took a picture...I'll take one tomorrow to get a clearer image, but anyone have any ideas?

did you do a compression test yet? that should show if anything is wrong.

 

heh can't do a compression test now, i already ripped off the head. white smoke was blowing everywhere and i was misfiring cylinders 1 2 and 3 ...

oh well, hopefully everythings ok. i was just curious if people knew if this piston was supposed to look like this.
