suggestions on suspension setup for 5th gen civic?
asking this q for a friend btw.
thinking of getting tein basics for '95 ex coupe, what other suspension pieces would be required for proper camber adjustment in the front and rear? what is the general consensus on tein basics? any other similarly priced options?
what kind of suspension does this car have anyhow? it has double wishbone in the front (although i dont really have any idea how this works, if anyone has info please post) and a multilink rear, but thats all i know. my car has macpherson struts so i use camber plates in the front and for the rear i adjust through the rear upper arms. what is used to do it on a 5th gen civic? can camber plates be utilized on a 5th gen? if so, can you use them on the front and rear, or front only? if not, what is the alternative. and i know you can ghetto rig the camber in the back with washers somehow, is there somthing similar for the front? any more info on how to do this? is the washer method safe, or are adjustable control arms or whatever the preferred method? thanks!

I for one would hold off on those Basics. Waste of money, IMO.
Don't know why you're concerned so much about camber. Negative camber is a good thing and unless you're slammed to the ground, you're not going to have much more than -2 or so. I might slap a few washers on the rear to get the camber closer to -1 for better rotation, though.
Eh.

what would you reccomend instead of basics. and just asking about the camber to avoid unneccesary tire wear (this is on a daily driver)
Ingalls camber kit to take care of the negative camber (although I don't know why unless you drive a ton on the highways and such)
As suspension goes:
Koni Yellows
Eibach/Neuspeed/susp. techniques/H&R any spring set

what height adjustable suspension would you guys suggest? how much would it cost to get a set of dual adjustable coilovers with adj. shocks and pillow ball uppers w/front camber plates for this car? i got tein he on my car for 1200 and havent really been able to find anything comprable in the same price range for his car.
