Just drove down the road and my entire car just died all at once. the lights the interior lights the radio EVERY thing!!!!! I have a tow truck comeing to pick it up But have NO Idea what it is. I had tools on the passenger side floor where the Ecu is and was wondering if it got unplugged some how. Help ASAP!!!!!
maybe you should go look .. I would think the ecu is a good place to start. if its all good check your voltages from battery.

Well my ECU was hooked up but SOMTHING is defenitely loose, as I was towing it home when I hit the pothole at the end of my street everything came on at once then by the time i got home and lowered the car back to the earth it stoped working again. I'm throwing a code 20 and a code 12. don't know what those mean but I'm in the process of searching. I know somebody did a whole list of them all on here somewhere.

Make sure that your Negative battery cable is tight, and the terminals are all clean... happened to me once. Also, check the underhood relays, and the big connector that's covered in that amber rubber.

Exactly what happend to me...i was working on my car and disconnected the battery. When I went to put it back together i must of not tightend it enough cause it popped off but kept running until i let off the gas then it just died when I stopped at a light.

yeah I will check that too but when i had a bad ground before I could tell that it was dying/going to die. this time Everything was running perfect(use that term lightly) then just shut off just like that It scared me kindof at first cus it is pitch black on that street and it just went dark, then drove for a little bit and pulled off on the side of the road

Well I was looking at all my wiring and the ground wire from the -battery terminal to the frame looked like it melted a little up close to the terminal. Would a short like that caused my car to spontainiosly(sp) shut off all at once? and could it have messed up my battery/starter/alternator?
