I use to have the race springs and I liked em, they were not bouncy at all.

I had them on an EK hatch paired up with KONI Yellows. The handling was just too sweet...

well, to make it appropriate for the apperance forum, heres a H&R race equipped civic:
On SILVER 16" k1's

Same car on 16" TE37's:

I have experience with the H&R lineup from the sports to the full race coilovers.
Best value out there, no other company can match it.

No camber kit, but i road race the car, and have the negative camber set to my preferences.

I have H&R springs on my SI but not sure which ones because they were on the car when I bought it. Only mod done to it. All I know is that next to my brother's old EM1 with Tokico 1.5" drop mine was a lot lower. But the ride is pretty good and I really like the stance. Need struts badly now though.

Can anyone tell which springs (sport or race) I have from this pic?

You have the sports. That looks just like my drop with sports and yellows.

And after looking at your pic, i really need to add a lip to my front end!!

If that is directed towards me I honestly have no opinion about them because I have never ran them. My brother got them for his because he just wanted a decent lower suspension and Honda didn't make anything factory. That car never saw a hard corner and probably never made it over 90mph. For his new EBP EM1 we are doing the same setup this weekend.

no disrespect. Just for those wondering in the future. My brother had tokikos and to say the least we where really dissapointed compared to the konis. After the tokikos blew shortly thereafter, we switched to Koni and it has been a more than noticeable difference. And they have lasted 3 years longer

ive got a 00 hatch with race springs, koni yellows, 15 in slips and 195/50/15 toyos

fronts set on the middle perch(on the struts), and rears set at the top perch. gives it kind of a agressive look...i get some pics up later

When I said I loved mine, it was from a point of how they were for daily driving. They improved handling and still gave me a really stock feeling ride.

I'll be getting something with a lot higher spring rates for this season when I actually track my car.

I've heard they sag in time also but never from anyone who has a set. It is always a friend of mine had them sag or a guy I know had them sag. I know mine haven't but if it is something he is worried about then Eibach and Tein are good choices also for a little more money.

I had HRs on mine and the back did actually sag the first 2 months I had it. At first i was able to fit 1 finger in the gap and after no fingers.

No "race" spring should lower the car 2" plus. That`s just stupid. Plus, they don`t even make their springs, just slap their name on them and the box
