Master cylinder from 93 teg non abs cant find an answer to ? HELP!
Ok, I just bought a Master Cylinder and booster from a 1993 teg off ebay just a minute ago because I'm doing a front brake upgrad on my 88 crx hf. I'm leaving the rear drums but I'm starting to think that I shouldnt have bought it because is that master cylinder for all wheel discs or what? I'm very confused. My setup is ex knuckles/hubs, 11" Prelude rotors redrilled to 4x100, and ITR/Accord wagon calipers. Here is the link to it. Help me!

Its fine to use that. If you stick with the rear drums, you need to stick with the same proportioning valve.

good deal. So what size is that MC? 15/16" or 1"? Either way it should help out.

Hey Japrex,
Let me know how it fits, and also the difference in feel. I have a 91 HF with 90-93 Teg brakes up front, and my brakes although theywork good, could definitely use an upgrade. Oh, and that's a sweet brake setup you have.

Shouldnt this MC and booster come with that prop valve because it is non-ABS and its from a 93. I really don't know much about the prop valves and where they are located.

here is a pic of the pro. valve on my DB2. You mount it in the stock location on your EF. Your auction appears to not have the pro. valve included. You could email him and see if it is still available.
damn! what if i cant get the pro valve? Is there any way to use the stock crx or will there be a difference?
I don't know why 1 is telling you to get the proportioning valve. If you have drums on your car, and you are keeping them, then you should not get a different proportioning valve.
thats exactly what i was thinking because the integra pro valve should be for all wheel discs. I need to use mine then.
To my knowledge the pro valve is used in conjunction with the MC/booster. Why are you upgrading the MC/booster if you are not upgrading the rear brakes?
because my stock crx brakes are 9.5" rotors with small calipers compared to 11" rotors with integra type R calipers which means that it will take more brake fluid pressure. So if I don't upgrade to a bigger MC/booster my pedal will feel very very sloppy and squishy. Upgrading the MC to a bigger one with bigger front brakes helps the pedal feel like stock again.
