Okay, to start I have a 95 B18C1 in a 92 vx. When I'm idle for example at a stop light I hear this loud ticking sound from the underside of my car. It sounds like its coming from the rear, near the exhaust. It sounds like the ticking sound you would hear from your car as it cools when you turn it off, but a little louder. Anyone have an idea what it could be? If it means anything, I am throwing a CEL, but I think it has something to do with my O2 sensor. Any info is appreciated. TIA

 

It could be a exhaust leak somewhere under your car,check to see if theres a leak anywhere

Have you jumped the service harness to see what code(s) are stored? It's hard to help or suggest anything when we don't know the codes

I checked the codes this morning and I was getting 1 and 41. Any thoughts?

 

Both codes are for the O2 sensor. I noticed you have a VX model which requires a wiring fix for the O2 sensor. Here's a writeup I did a while back: VX 4 Wire O2 Wiring

 

thanks...i checked my harnesses and saw that i don't have the white wire on the engine harness side. instead i have a orange/blue wire there. any suggestions?
