Default h22 tranny question

if i was to get an h22 auto swap, and i didnt get the tranny, i would be able to just get a 5 spd tranny?, and what 5spd tranny's fit? and which would be best?

the swap would most likely go on an eg or ek hatch, if it makes a diff, i would prefer an ek

you'll have to get a manual h22 ecu. but yes, if you get the flywheel, clutch, and manual tranny with the cables, then yes, it can be done just like any normal h22a swap.

yes, H23 trannies, as well as the accord trannies will all work. shifter assembly, cables, and everything. You need an H22A manual ECU, or a chipped P28, chipped P72, etc.

If you can't find a H22 or H23 tranny, you can also use a F-series 5-spd tranny from an Accord. But you have to use the 94+ transmission as the 90-93 tranny will still bolt to the H22 block, but the mounting points for the tranny mount will not line up with an aftermarket mount kit.
