The e-mail I recived from NASA said that AMP is going to appeal the ruling but I dont think they will re open

ooo laguna seca or thunder hill would be nice.. sorry i wasn't sure about driving into the desert last time I was in AZ for memorial day i almost passed out from heat wen outside.. I can't imagine driving around with a helmet in 100+ temps.

Complaints from neighbors about noise resulted in the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors passing an ordinance this morning revoking their permit.

Keep in mind that this is for a racetrack built next door to an air force base...

 

And it seems as if the AMP owners may have misrepresented the intended use of the track (private use vs. clubs coming in and using it) to the locals.

That's the claim by one side in the local debate. I would like to hear the other side (that of the track management) before agreeing with that statement.
