I took my b18c1 out of my car, and while taking it out, this washer fell out. I have no Idea where it goes, and I want to make sure I get it in before I put the motor back in my car.

 

would you put it by a ruler and also a side shot? I can't get a good feeling for the size of it. It looks like maybe for a bolt for a mount, but maybe not.

 

sorry buzz ur pretty much S.O.L. i know i cant and pretty sure no one else will be able to tell where that goes. try and think of what olts u have taken out that fit that washer. good luck

 

If I'm not mistaken, that washer slides on the the little post where the torsion bar of your shift linkage connects to the tranny. Not the actual shifting rod, the other bar with the circular end. It just slides on before you connect that bar. I don't think you really need it. But i could be wrong.

this is pretty much impossible to find out (unless your a GSR guru) It looks like a washer for a motor mount to me (just a guess)

You know what... it did fall from somewhere near the tranny. I put the shiflinkage on already, is there supposed to be 2 washers, one each side of that circular rod? I only have 1 on there.

shock tower bushing washer,
strut stabalizer bushing washer.
either one....

but i woulnd worry about it..

 

Yup. You can even see the contact marks from the donut shifter bushing.
