Skunk2 Intake manifold would work **** on a GSR my friend has the same exact setup on his GSR powered Civic, the only thing I would do further is get a throttle body and get them port matched. The Type R one is good, maybe if you ported a Type R piece it might produce more power, but it would cost more to buy the manifold and port it than it would cost to run a Skunk2 in the first place. I agree on the header too, that header won't do your car any justice once the head stuff is taken care of, might I reccomend a Toda one, perhaps a SMS one, a lot of people on HT like the SMS. Hope I could help you out.

I would also suggest getting the skunk 2 mani... then getting it extrude honed. Thats what I'm doing. The inside of the skunk 2 isnt very smooth and I think if I get it all smoothed out I will notice a better gain.

the dc jdm 4-1 is one of the best bang for your buck headers. Id stick with it unless your building an actual NA road racing car.

bottom line, u can't go wrong w/ the skunk manifold. A ported skunk2 manifold is/was used on crazy high NA horsepower cars.

Skunk2 manifold on a GSR is way better than a stock one. If you just get cams and head work your car will produce some good hp numbers. You may lose alittle torque, but not that much.

What about the AEBS manifold? didnt it make more power than the Skunk 2 manifold and also cost less?

AEBS doesn't make GS-R manifolds, yet.

makes the most power at a very low cost. it make more power than the skunk2 im
and no they do not make it for a ls or gsr. pr3 head only b16 or itr but theres no point to get it if your have an itr. its a great mod for a b16 though

Well, isn't the Skunk 2 manifold almost identical to the Type-r one? Don't quote me on that. If so you might as well get a type-r manifold and it's cheaper.

They type R manifold does not fit onto the stock GSR head...

I plan on running a modified GSR manifold.

I've heard you get a slightly better gain with it in the low-mid range.
