4wd acura integra
was there one ever made from the factory? i have a 50$ bet with a friend. he claims there was one made, im 99.9999999% there wasnt one made ever. i dont care if its USDM,JDM, or EDM, i looked everywhere an cant find one anywhere. he claims that he has an internet page that lists one. am i wrong or right?
Yes, there was, in Japan. I forget the trim level designation.
I have seen the page, and I remember it - it was a 3rd-gen Integra sedan, with a RealTime 4WD sticker on the side.
There were also 4WD 5th-gen Civic sedans, called the RTSi and the RTX.

I believe it was the Integra XSi, but I may be wrong. If I'm right, I get $20
edit: Sorry, it was the ZXi and it had a damn ZC motor and was an auto. No wonder the thing felt like a dog and they got rid of it.

DAMNIT!!!! ******* weird japenese models. yeah the XSI didnt have a 4wd vtec motor i know that. but he says it was a 1.6 liter, so that makes it a zc or another d series. ****, i hate losing, this guy is such a ricer too, i just got owned
You're right, it was a ZXi and had a 1.6l ZC. Here's a site that has all sorts of info about it:

if you cared more you could cut your losses. technically, you're correct, if for no other reason than that JDM has no Acuras.

Yup, ZXi 4WD. It had the DB9 chassis. Actually, they were available in both auto and manual, and the motor was a 1.6 ZC.

According to my JDM Honda brochure which I can't read LOL
The 4wd model was a DC bodied, 4 door only with a 1.6 SOHC, and it was called the "Xi 4WD".

there is a 2 part article in honda tuning mag. of a guy making his acura AWD and using some parts of of this awd car from japan and parts of the crv. just wondering how much power that drive train can handle. cant wait to see the final product of the AWD conversion.

I would guess, not much. The original JDM 4wd teg's only engine option was a SOHC 1.6L, probably 120-130hp at most.

yeah i have been following that article for awhile. they say in their that its the only 4wd integra that they know of, they even mention theres a 4wd crx in cancada . thats why i made the bet. i figured if these guys are going throught all this trouble to make a 4wd teg, there cant be one from the factory.
The reason they're trying the CRV platform is because it already uses a B-Series motor and they figured they could manufacture whatever else they needed. I remember seeing that article near the end of last year, but I haven't heard anything else since then.
