Default JDM Fog Lights - Is there such an animal????

I see many (relatively) folks with the JDM and JDM/Mugen (mmmMugen! Yummy!) front end, but no one is sporting any "OEM" type auxilliary lights. Even if I was to get the full-on HIDs (and I would) I feel the need for more light...

I have heard the dash fog light switch (for when you have no console ala JDM) referred to as the "UKDM Fog Light Switch", but to my knowledge, the Euro Integras are also 4 headlight (USDM) type front ends.

So does anyone out there know what Honda does for these kind of accessory lights in an OEM/Dealer-Installed-Option kind of way for the JDM front end? Anyone? Bueller?

Mmmm... I don't think so. Maybe you're thinking of parking/turn indicators.

Mad Props to Mike - I stole a conversion pic:

Fog lights, I think, would fit in that lower section, either left & right or both in the center (?)

What he said above
and the switch is on all ITRs In Japan as the foglights are built in, and are an accessory along with the Foglights on euro and ausie ITRs. Our USDM Fogs mount in the grille area, The Euro/Aus ones are actually in the bumper/front lip. I will take a look around for some pics.

No Blue R is correct the Foglights are the most inner part of the headlight housings next to the grille. They have a Yellow glass in them so the light is always yellow

the parking/signal lights are on the wrap around part of the JDM light cluster not right next to the grill

look carefully, there are three clusters of lights on the JDM
foglight, headlight, turn signal

Super!

What bulbs are in these fog lights? H3?

Are they integrated into the light switch (turn signal stalk mounted) or do they have their own switch?

Are these generally included in the JDM front end conversion (HID, for the sake of the argument) kit?

Thanks!

They are always included since you have them integrated into the main headlight housings. The fog light bulb is an H3. ONLY use 55watt bulb. Ask a few here why. The switch goes where the cruise is mounted on lesser Integras. It is optional.

In the 2nd gen teg, the fogs only come on with the headlights and not with the high beams. I believe it is the same with the G3 teg as well. In either case, they can be rewired to work independently. Dont use over a 55w bulb in any JDM foglight (G2 or G3) because the bulb makes too mugh heat for the housing to handle.
