Right now i have nothing to protect my teg. I plan on purchasing an alarm with a pager in the near future. I guess my security is that my DC2 is wearing DA GS rims. It makes my car look so cheap.

Wouldnt a removable MOMO steering wheel be the best form of security? I mean you cant drive what you cant steer. This is exclusing those ******** that jack cars using cousin bubba's roolback. Or could they just come with their own wheel and pop it on?

you can always chain your teg to a post dug into the ground...like a bike...this may only work at home though

Multiple fuel cut off switches, very good alarm with many sensors, hood locks so that its not easy to get under the hood, try to park in a way that it would be hard to tow it (very close to curbs), turn the wheel when you park all the way to the side, gps tracking.

On top of all that, just make sure that your insurance covers everything in your car and you have receipts to back it up. I have a nice little binder with all my stuff so in case **** happens, I just pull it out, make copies, and send them to the insurance company.

How about an apartment parking lot full of cars?

For one thing I park way in the back part of my apartment complex, where nobody passes by except those that live back there (by the 3-bedroom apartments, which is a dead-end part, no thru traffic). Almost every space is filled up at night, and there is barely enough room for me to back out of those spaces, much less get a flatbed truck in there. I also park facing in, w/ the wheels turned. With cars on both sides it would be EXTREMELY difficult to get my car out of there.

Make sure you have insurance coverage and an appraisal to help.. If someone wants it bad enough they will get it, tow it etc..

when my DA was my mom's car... i didnt give a damn. i was like "good, i hope they steal it! i want a new car!!"

but after realizing how sexy the DA is, with the OEM kit... lifes good!

lived in the seattle area all of my life, owned the DA for a little over 12 years now. Never had a theft attempt... old school Alpine alarm, came with the car

as for my 3 uncles in portland... 95' GSR, 00' GSR, 98' R
all stolen, all had Viper alarm...

garaged is the best way... with a touch of confidence

Um I used to live in my teg so I didn't have to worry about it.. but since I won my law suit against McDonald's I live next to one of Deion Sanders' houses "Primetime Baby"

Just playin, if someone wants your car or whats on it bad enough their gonna get what they want... stories on this site explain everyting from parking at the movies to right in front of their bedroom window.

I guess you have to worry about your ride most of the time, but all in all it comes with the territory when you drive America's most stolen Honda/Acura..

Good alarm, G Unit custom made bullet proof windows, and guard dog equals some chance

Well, I had an Alarm and The Club but as you can tell from my sig, the thieves hit me up.

In a span of 45 minutes, my car was taken from a well lit, busy intersection in NYC...damn organized crime.

well honestly you can have whatever you want on your car, but the key is to use common sense with where you leave it, not your security features ( that is secondary). I live in a pretty hot place for integras and I've managed to keep mine for over a year so far so I think I am doing pretty good.
My advice is this; when I go to a public venue or mall, I usually try to park as close to the front of the store as possible, so whoever tries to take it will be noticed. Also I try to park it in front of book stores and furniture stores, basically places that you'd least expect to find a thief. If you have no choice and you have to park it in a shady area, definetely check up on the car every once in a while just to make sure everything is ok. Finally for security, I use a 3 stage sensor alarm with pager alert, in combination with THE CLUB with the double u-bars at either end ( I dont care what people say about this item, without it, I would not have my car today), and for a last ditch resort if all else fails, there are things you can unplug temporarily on your motor, though I wont say exactly what they are here on a public board.
Good luck bro, and when it comes to having an interga, remember there is no such thing as being too paranoid !
