Does anyone have CTR pistons in their Type R?

Just wondering if anyone has run these and if so for how long? Is detonation a problem on pump gas?

I have these in a couple motors. No detonation problems at all.
Approaching 70k miles with em too.

i also have a friend running CTR's and he has no problems even with the 91 octane

Does it require any special tuning on the fuel or ignition??

he has a v-afc and just an external coil
