Default TL S sway bars

Ok i posted this in the Tech thread but got nothing so heres my question to you guys. How hard is it to do the install by myself with regular tools? I found a set of frotn and rear for real cheap and was thinking about picking them up. I dont want to go stripping anything apart if i have to, especially with the suspension. You guys recommend DIY or take it to the shop?

DIY, should be that hard with regular tools, just replace existing (if you have them) and add new tls sways, if your car doesn't come with them make sure you at least get all hardware fo application and should be able to figure it out via how it was layed out on the tls or via the search function...i could have sworn this was brought up a while ago, I am assuming for 6th gen.

straight swap, nothing special needed.

a word of wisdom from experience, spray the anti-sway bar end link's nuts with Wd40

you need socket rachet, hex key..that's all

wd40 and silicone lube for the mounting bracket

been there done that, you'll love the mod.

one more things, ask for the stock rubber/poly urtherne bushing with the metal bracket

front bar is pretty standard long time ago.

5th gen lx, dx dont have rear sway, 6th gen dx dont have sway neither, newer base model eclipse dont.

I have a lx 4dr so everything just bolts up right, take off the old and reuse the old nuts and bolts and install new sway bars? Nothing to compress or force on?

I would say the sway bar is bigger than the one on your stock, to be on the safe side I would grab the holders and bushings. I dont think your stock holders and bushings will fit, but stock bolts on the body will work.
