Default OT: Got a new beater, wrecked it a few hours later (Also has one ITR pic) 56k DIE (lots of pics)

So saturday night I bought me a new beater. It's a 1991 Nissan pickup. I paid $100 + my old Rota's for it. So later that night I'm at a friends house and we were having a bon fire and party (it's cold in florida right now, you know, 40s, 50s..). Anyways, I had the previous owner take the truck there since I didn't have it registered or insured yet and he did. So, later during the night we decide to start doing some off road driving... my truck and a friends (who owns an ITR btw) Mazda 12a rotary powered Toyota pickup were running through the 3.5 acre yard..

Eventually we both had 1 flat tire and it was simply bound to happen.. I tapped a tree and he was 2 feet or so behind me and rear ended my truck..

Pics of the Nissan:

Wonder why it wont start?

Here's the mazda powered Toyota:

Mazda 12a..

Here's the Tree:

Oh, and if you were wondering what happened to the fender from my nissan....

Oh, and here's that promised ITR shot.. it's actually a reflection of Kenji's car and a little of Charles' old black itr.

Enjoy.
-Dave

Sucks about the truck....is there any frame damage...if not just go to the junk yard a pick up a new fender and off road some more

LOL I'm not sure I'd say I'm proud of it.. it's just so cheap that I guess I don't care enough about the truck. Kinda sucks, I was going to daily drive it and then paint it at the FL bbq Oh well, It'll get fixed.

Ironically.. I told people I wanted to get this truck because if I ran it into a tree I wouldn't care.

hmm well let's see. arrived at the party at 9:30pm, first drive at 10:00 or so, more drives from then on, tire blew out around 12am and that accident finally happened right around 3:30am or so I think.

edit: oh and the battery cable came out of the plug after the 2nd run.
