POssible Radiator Leak
I think my raditor might be leaking because I can see coolant around the area. When I checked the level, it was a little low. It kind of looks like it is leaking from the top edge. FOr some reason, I dont hear radiator fan go on anymore, granted that it is about 2 degrees outside. Actually, the hood is open a couple of centimeters more than usual because I was in a minor fender bender. The bumper is out of alignment so it pops up a little but still latches. Could this be causing it to leak? From the air hitting it through the gap? Also, How do I see if the radiator fan turns on. It should turn on when the AC is on right? It doesnt. Thanks for the help.
So it is only leaking at the radiator itself? From what you have told us, sound slike the minor fender bender you were in might be the culprit and may have damged the radiator with out you knowing it. Also, if you fan(s) don't come on, that is another problem to deal with.
You can buy a radiator tester that pressurizes the system to check for leaks. I would definitely do this as an overheated engine is not good.
For your fans not coming on, you need somehow test the fan switch (located on the thermostat housing) for - 1 to see if it is getting a signal and 2 to see if the leads have continuity.

What are certain things that should turn on the fans. Maybe i am misdiagnosing. So far, have not had any abnormal overheating. If I do what MUST the fans come on?
